Have you ever wanted to make a big change in your life? Personal growth is hard, daunting and requires you to go all in. You must commit to yourself with fierce determination or you will backslide into familiar ways.
So what does that got to do with water? We all know we should drink plenty of water. 64 oz daily. If you are already a water drinker, you might be thinking…no big deal! But for most of us this is a huge deal and has you making several trips to the restroom. I guess that is one way to get more steps on your fitbit.
Will Durant said, “You are what you repeatedly do.” So to make a change you must repeatedly do something differently or new. Take a walk instead of a smoke break. Leave earlier to arrive on time. You get my point.
Creating a new habit is tough, so I propose starting with water to get into the practice of doing things differently. Get into the habit of chugging down your daily dose. Soon you will be a no-big-deal water drinker and have successfully made a positive change in your health.
Don’t just wish your life was different and do the same things everyday. If you want to make a change in your life, start with water!
